Here at Vaughan Sportsplex Center, we offer a variety of sports programs for kids to help keep them happy, active and entertained. Parents are welcome to contact us at any time to learn about our many programs, and a better understanding of our available activities will help you select the best program for your child. It is important for kids to be physically active, and our Sportsplex Center has a program for everyone!

Types of Sports Programs Available:

  • Soccer

If you are looking for a kid’s soccer league, you’ve come to the right place because we offer leagues for kids of different ages, and your child will have a lot of fun learning about the techniques involved in soccer. They will get to run for a long time and will enjoy the many benefits of this sport, including a stronger mind and body.Vaughan Soccer

Soccer is a great sport played by kids of different ages, and children will learn about teamwork, communication skills and how to cope with different situations. They will learn different foot techniques and will learn to pass the ball to their teammates. Soccer builds confidence and resilience and will boost a child’s overall health and well-being.

  • Basketball

Basketball is a team sport that involves a lot of movement and is considered a full-body workout. Kids will learn to pass, shoot, dribble, defend and more and will also learn to play with their teammates. They will learn to communicate and will learn to cope with both victory and defeat.Kids Camp

Basketball is a great sport that is beneficial for the mind and body, and children will have to learn to act fast and will have to create solutions to get the ball to the desired part of the court. Basketball teaches kids about confidence, cooperation and teamwork and is ideal for kids eight years of age and older.

  • Volleyball

This is a great sport that can tone and strengthen the upper body, shoulders, arms and lower body muscles. Playing volleyball will also help improve a person’s cardiovascular and respiratory systems. This sport can improve a child’s hand-eye coordination and will help a child build agility, speed and balance. Children will learn to serve, pass, block and set the ball and will improve their flexibility.

Volleyball is intended for older children because of the techniques that are involved.

  • Golf

Vaughan SoccerAt our spacious center, kids can learn the fundamentals of golf, including proper stance, club grip, and body position. They will also have the opportunity to practice their swing and improve their balance and leverage. Our program is perfect for kids aged 10 and up who are looking to learn and enjoy the unique sport of golf.

  • Batting

This is a great way for kids to learn about baseball drills, and kids will learn a balance between movements and exciting drills to improve their swing. Our program keeps it light and fun and teaches kids about swing movement while keeping practices fun. We want children to develop elite habits and will do this in an enjoyable way in our specially designed batting area.

  • Speed Training

Kids will have to perform drills to improve resistance, and speed training is a great way for kids to build strength and develop better running form. Older kids can incorporate weight training into their workouts to maximize their speed, and our program will teach kids how to run and improve directional changes.Kids Camp

We may take them through a series of activities and will focus on proper form to instill great running techniques and mechanics. Children will gain better control over their bodies and will warm up before they start training.

Vaughan Sportsplex is one of the largest indoor multi-sport facilities in all of Canada, and our facility is 80,000 square feet! Our facility accommodates 4 FIBA basketball courts and seven volleyball courts, and 40,000 square feet of our facility consists of maple hardwood.

The possibilities are endless when you visit our facility, and whether you want to join a league, rent our gym or host a birthday party, we will accommodate your needs.
